The problem

Most florist websites stop just short of the sale.

Plenty of florist sites still ask people to ring the shop to place an order. Others take it through a form, with the delivery date typed into a plain text box and checked by hand the next morning.

Some hand the checkout to a relay network, which takes a cut and keeps the customer details.

All three lose orders after hours, which is when most people are looking. Here is what we build instead.

The hours your shop is shut are the hours people buy flowers.

Example day, to show the gap
08:00You open
17:30You close
21:47Someone wants to send flowers tomorrow
23:10They order somewhere that was open

A store takes that order at 21:47 and it is waiting for you at 08:00. Same flowers, same van, same you. The only thing that changed is who was open.

Proof: our own shops

We did not learn this on somebody else's shop.

We own and run Fabulous Flowers and Flower Guy. Both are flower shops. Both take orders online, with delivery dates, zones and card messages, on stores we built ourselves.

Every part of what you are buying is running in a shop we are responsible for. When the date picker gets it wrong on a public holiday, it is our phone that rings.

Those are the two stores. Not case studies, not screenshots from a pitch deck. They take orders every day and we are the ones who answer for them.

Why our pages sell

We write the page as a florist, not as an agency.

An agency writing for a flower shop has to guess at the words. We do not guess, because we sell flowers every day on two stores of our own, and we have watched which words make someone buy and which ones make them leave.

That shows up in three places, and each one is worth money.

A florist tucking an occasion card into a wrapped bouquet1

Occasion, not category

Nobody wakes up wanting a hand-tied seasonal arrangement. They want something for a funeral, a new baby, an apology, a birthday they nearly forgot.

We build the pages around the occasion, because that is the thing being searched for and the thing being felt.

A wrapped bouquet handed across the counter2

Your town is the money word

The search that converts is almost never "florist". It is flower delivery with a place attached, and it is typed by somebody who needs it today or tomorrow.

Those pages get built properly, with your real areas and your real cut-off times on them.

Buyer words beat trade words

Florists describe flowers the way florists talk. Buyers type something much plainer, and much more urgent.

We write the page in the buyer's words and keep the trade words where they belong, which is in your workroom.

How a florist writes it
  • Seasonal hand-tied, florist's choice
  • Our signature kraft wrap
  • Contact us for delivery options
  • Bespoke sympathy tributes
How the buyer searches
  • Birthday flowers delivered tomorrow
  • Flower delivery near me today
  • Funeral flowers same day
  • Send flowers to a hospital

The left column is how most florist sites read. The right column is what people actually type. Your pages get written for the right-hand column, and the keywords get chosen the same way.

How it works

Seven steps, and most of them are ours.

  1. Book a 20-minute call
  2. Proposal and checkout link, 50% deposit
  3. Your content and photos come to us
  4. Store live within 7 working days of receiving your content
  5. Your check, with two rounds of changes, within 3 working days
  6. Transfer into your name
  7. Monthly SEO, or Site Care, starts

We are taking five florists to begin with. We would rather get five shops genuinely right, learn what breaks, and then open it up, than take twenty and let half of them down. When the five are live we will stop and review before taking any more.

Minimum term and early cancellation. The setup price is discounted because it comes with SEO, so SEO has a 3-month minimum. If you cancel SEO before 3 monthly payments, the difference between this setup price and our site-only price becomes due. That difference is £200.

About the rand charge. Prices are set in pounds and charged in rand (ZAR) at checkout, because that is what our payment provider takes. Your bank converts it and may add a small foreign-transaction fee.

What we promise, and what we do not

We put our own money behind the seven days.

If your store is not live within 7 working days of your content reaching us, your first month of SEO is free. That is a real cost to us and the only thing that pauses the clock is waiting on you, which is why the second column matters.

What we hold ourselves to

  • Your store is live within 7 working days of your content reaching us
  • Anything operational gets an answer within 48 hours
  • Anything urgent gets an answer within 12 hours
  • Two full rounds of changes before you go live
  • Your monthly SEO work is listed by volume, in writing

What we need from you

  • Twenty photos from your phone. They do not need to be professional
  • Your product names and prices, however you already keep them
  • Your delivery areas and cut-off times, written in a sentence
  • Approval on each round within 3 working days

We send you a one-page list so you know exactly what to gather. The clock pauses while we are waiting on you, and that is the only thing that moves the 7 days.

What we will never promise. We do not guarantee a Google position, an AI mention, a traffic figure or a revenue figure. Anyone who does is guessing with your money. We guarantee the work, the timings and the volume, which are the parts we control.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Who owns the store?

You. We build it on our Shopify Partner account and transfer ownership to you.

Why am I charged in rand?

Our payment provider settles in rand, so that is the currency your card is charged in. Your bank converts it and may add a small foreign-transaction fee. We review the rand price quarterly.

Is there a contract?

Store + SEO has a 3-month minimum on the SEO. After that it is monthly, and you can stop whenever you like.

How long does it take?

Live within 7 working days of receiving your content and photos.

Who keeps the store up to date?

Included with Florist SEO if we built your store. Otherwise we can add site care separately. Price still to be set.

What do I pay Shopify?

Your own Shopify plan, billed to you by Shopify.

A florist at her counter with the shop behind her

Next February, one of two things is true.

Either you spend Valentine's week answering the phone while people who could not get through order somewhere else. Or the orders come in overnight, with the dates and the card messages already on them, and you spend the week making flowers.

Twenty minutes on a call is what decides which one.
